What is on-page optimization?

On-page optimization comes after conducting keyword research. It involves modifying your content or web pages to perform better on search results while meeting your user’s expectations. On-page SEO can include various types of tasks depending on your projects. Basic On-page optimization can include modifications of title tags, headings and meta tags (which contains information about your contents such as title, author, keywords etc. And it resides in the head section of your HTML code.)

Additionally, you would like to optimize your images by making sure its speed, relevancy, and intent meets your user’s needs. For example, you don’t want to scare your page visitors away by slapping a large picture right in the beginning of your article. Also, you must make sure it’s positioned correctly based on your topic. A visual only where it’s needed can really help the users understand the topic better and keep them engaged.

On-page ranking factors

On-page ranking factors are the various elements of a webpage that can be optimized to improve its search engine ranking. These factors include the URL, content, meta data, keywords, internal links, image optimization, backlinks, indexation, and structured data. Let's dive into each of these factors in more detail.
